My wife had wanted to see this for a while so on her birthday we hopped over to Koreatown for a matinee. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but came out very impressed.
It tells the true story of the fall of the Somalian government in 1991 and the reluctant joining up of the North and South Korean embassies as they struggle to find a safe path through the mayhem and reach the Mogadishu airport.
It was almost spine-tingling to see their harrowing journey on screen as it visualized much of what we are reading in the news about Kabul right now.
The acting production and score are all top notch. Check it out if you have a chance!
